0.4 The Party Update

This is the biggest update yet. Old saves won't work here.

Companions:

You can hire mercenaries and take one of them to help you in fights.

There are two of them, and they have scenes, with you and without.

Combat system:

Now it supports up to 3 combatants on each side.

Some enemies will show up in pairs, and some will summon creatures.

You control your allies.

You can choose the target by clicking on the portrait.

Werewolf transformation:

You can use a spell to turn yourself into a werewolf for the fight and the defeat scenes.

Quests:

You can complete simple randomly generated tasks to get more money.

Progression:

Kind of. You unlock locations as you play, whereas previously they were all unlocked from the start.
